final superimposed picture

for my final superimposed picture i added: a beach umbrella, 2 beach chairs, 2 legs, a pole for the umbrella, 2 little kids, a beach ball, and a seagull to a regular empty picture of the beach. i added shadows, dropped the opacity, and adjusted to brightness/contrast of each of the pictures to make them look like they belonged.

today i selected my background for our next project. for this next project we will be placing pictures in the background and adjusting them to make them look like they belong there. my background is a beach scene, i plan on putting items such as boats, beach chairs, sea gulls, and more beach related items.

Magnet projecttttttttt

Here are the 4 magnets I created for four most recent project. I found all of these pictures online with google images. Using a tutorial I created the glare/shiny effect that the pictures have. Some things i did in the tutorial was add a drop shadow and inner shadow, make a gradient in an elipse, and adjust the opacity to give it a natural look.

TiKi BaR !!!!!

This my final "Tiki Bar" sign that I created for the prom. I found hawaiian theme vectors and changed their colors and edited them to work with my poster. I also added an effect to the wave vector using photoshop. I found an online tutorial to create the drift wood effect on the poster. I downloaded the font "tiki palms" to use for the title "The Tiki Bar." I really like this poster a lot and enjoyed making it.

Final Calendar Post

Today we were given more to time to put finishing touches on our calendars. I checked mine one final time to make sure that everything was PERRRFECT. I made sure that the half inch border around the entire calendar was correct and that every thing was straight. the end

todayyyyyyyyyyyy i worked in illustrator creating each specific month for the calendar. i completed the grid and added the numbers and pictures. i got all the way up to MARCH.

today i saved the pictures from photoshop as JPEGs and brought them into illustrator. in illustrator i began to create the actual calendar using the line tool.

 today i worked some more in photoshop on my calendar pictures. I have gotten up to June, making the photos black and white and selecting a focus point to leave in color. My photographer is named Dario Endara, and I am using pictures he took while traveling around the world

today i finished my vintage travel poster of ireland. changed the text and set up of the poster from last class, but that's mostly it. i tried to see what worked and didn't work and came up this. i chose to do Ireland because that is where my family is from. THE END

today i finished working i photoshop with my poster. i added in a rainbow coming off the castle and disappearing behind rocks. i then brought the file into illustrator and added text and a simple border.

today i began to mess around in photoshop with different filters and layers i could use to create my vintage posters. examples of some of the filters i used were watercolor, cutout, and dry brush. i edited the blending options so that i could place the layers on top of eachother and have them work together for the effect

today i finished the sketches for my vintage travel poster. i also began to look for online tutorials that will help me to make the poster have a vintage effect. next class i will begin to work in photoshop and illustrator to make the poster.....

Our next project is to make i vintage travel poster. I have selected to focus on ireland. Today i created 3 of my 5 sketches for the poster. They all have an irish castle on the them with other things added in the background or variations to the text and setup.

i have finished my motivational poster on "saving the dolphins" yeyyyy. i created a piece of notebook paper in illustrator. i then created 2 hands, a globe and a dolphin using the calligraphy brush. i then used photoshop to fill in the dolphin with multiple pictures, meshed together and saturated blue/gray.

i have decided to use the plans for my second sketch to make my motivational poster. It involves a piece of "notebook" paper with globe and two hands on it. then there is a dolphin jumping from the globe into the hands. The dolphin is filled in with multiple pictures of dolphins

today i finished all 6 sketches for my project. I then began to recreate them  using photoshop and illustrator.  i am using tools such as the calligraphy brush and pen to make this poster in illustrator and editing the saturation in photoshope

motivational poster

today i continued to make sketches and mess around with photoshop and illustrator to see what looks good for my poster on saving dolphins. so far i am working on my 4th out of 6 sketches.
1st sketch-3 dolphins jumping (live traced), white parts filled in with sunset (blue/green saturation)
2nd sketch- dolphin jumping from world into hands on notebook paper (calligraphy brush)
3rd sketch- large dolphin (live traced), filled in with multiple pictures (blue saturation), wave (made in illustrator)
4th sketch- incomplete

Finished with picture logos!!!!

Today I completed my picture logos. The final result includes the words: bloom, love, peace, music and nautical. My favorite one is bloom, i like the way that i changed the original picture of the flower to this new one filled with color. Also i like the effect that the font has with the "l" being the same color as the center of the flower the "o."I used the twist effect to make the anchor look the way it does, and the scribble effect for the music note

Picture Logos again

I am still working on creating logos with pictures replacing letters. In the most recent class 1/10 i used the word bloom and replaced one of the "o"s with a blooming flower. I changed the petals of the flower and everything using the color swatch and eyedropper tool so it looks very different now from its original

Today i continued to work on the picture logo projects. So far the words i have are "love, nautical, and peace" I have been using the live trace option to alter the pictures from their original. i only have 2 more logos to create now.
